The pillars of Ayax

When the second of Rheja’trix’ creations fell, it was at the foot of those pillars that bore his name. Urizen only wounded his body, but destroyed the man inside. Ayax smashed the pillars in grief, destroying that symbol of his greatest deeds. 
The scales fell before his eyes. A corruption he’d refused to see had grown all around him, the hollowness in his creator was revealed in his brother’s words, and Ayax’ shield was broken.
